We have a lot of interest from young people wanting to learn to sew and what can I say? We’re good to go!
We will be running a Saturday club aimed at all skill levels. Ages 8 to 16 will be given a good grounding on how to use a machine. Through guided projects they will establish their skills, fine tune what they know and produce items they can use and show off. No machine? No worries, we can provide one for the sessions.
We are also piloting a Home Education session for children who do not attend school. We are neurodiverse friendly and sessions will be very small and informal. The aim is to fire their imagination, creating useable items that will instil sewing skills in a non demanding manner.
If you are interested in signing up your child for either session, please let us know. You can email on info@stitchinkernow.co.uk or message on social media.
